Job Description
Christchurch Engine Centre, a joint venture between Pratt & Whitney and Air New Zealand, is hiring qualified Level 4 Aircraft Tradesperson for full-time permanent roles. The ideal applicant is open to rotating shifts and overtime, detail-oriented, safety-focused, follows defined processes, and eager to learn.
Requirements
- Trade Qualified – NZQA Level 4 or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' hands on experience in aerospace, automotive, mechanical engineering or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to follow processes and technical instructions accurately
- Able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, and twisting
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills
- Effective communicator and collaborative team player
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in all tasks
- Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts and overtime as required
