We are a creative communications agency looking for a Director, Media Relations to lead earned media strategy and execution across our Sports & Entertainment practice, while also supporting other practice groups as needed.
Requirements
- Develop and drive innovative media strategies for sports, entertainment and lifestyle clients
- Ensure clients are part of culturally relevant media conversations
- Create compelling angles, pitches and storytelling opportunities
- Manage proactive and reactive media relations
- Mentor junior staff in pitching, strategy and client service
- Work closely with integrated teams to deliver smart connected work
- Partner with account leads to co-develop KPIs and oversee reporting
- Participate in new business opportunities and occasionally travel for client/press needs
