CNC MACHINIST - A SHIFT

CNC Machinist position at Advantech Industries in Rochester, NY. Responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, inspecting work pieces, and maintaining a clean work area. Requirements include a HS Diploma or GED, 5 years of CNC setup and operation experience, and experience on Mazak or Haas Machines preferred.

Requirements

• Sets up machine and observes machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
• Sets up and controls operation of computerized deburring and tooling machine to perform series of machining operations
• Inspects "first part", and inspects work pieces throughout the production run for out-of-tolerance machining
• Clean machine and work area
• Provide aid and guidance to machine operators with less experience or skill
