Manager, Training

The Manager, Field Training & Development plays a key role in shaping and executing field learning and development strategies at Precision Drilling. The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader with strong communication skills and a passion for sourcing and implementing innovative solutions.

Requirements

• ≥ 2 years of experience leading individuals and teams
• ≥ 5 years of experience in drilling operations or related oilfield sectors
• Learning & Development Expertise: Proven ability to design, facilitate, and deliver high-impact learning programs using diverse modalities, informed by needs analyses and competency frameworks to drive measurable performance outcomes.
• Strategic Partnership & Execution: Strong track record partnering with Operations and key stakeholders to implement scalable, data-driven learning initiatives for field employees, supported by robust project management and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Tools, Technology & Communication: Advanced proficiency with LMS platforms (SuccessFactors), digital content creation tools, and Microsoft applications, combined with excellent facilitation, communication, and the ability to leverage technology for efficiency—including willingness to support learning through regional and international field visits.
