Quality Control Lead

We're seeking a Quality Control Lead to oversee packaging operations and ensure production of high-quality products at the lowest possible cost. The successful candidate will adhere to customer specifications and delivery requirements while working in accordance with Pregis policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Perform and document hourly inspections and run profile, retain samples per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
• Create/document Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Monitor production, including packaging, for defects and inaccuracies per quality standards
• Train Packers on Quality Control/Assurance Control(QC) SOP; regularly conduct audits to ensure quality inspections are being performed
• Work with Operations to resolve issues per QC SOP's
• Communicate effectively with upcoming shift to ensure smooth handoff
• Help to identify raw material defects, captures relevant information (lot codes, samples, etc.) and forward to X
• Conduct Investigations and Root Cause analysis
• Promote a positive teamwork culture
