Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting project-related costs to ensure accurate financial control across construction projects.

Requirements

• Maintain and analyze job cost records for multiple construction projects
• Track project budgets, commitments, and actual costs; identify variances and trends
• Prepare monthly job cost reports, work-in-progress (WIP) schedules, and profitability analyses
• Reconcile job cost subledgers to the general ledger
• Review and process subcontractor invoices, change orders, and cost allocations
• Weekly posting of labor cost to jobs
• Assist with revenue recognition and percentage-of-completion calculations
• Support project forecasting and cash flow analysis
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost coding and financial reporting
• Assist with audits, internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes
