Summer Pool Monitor

Become a vital part of our summer team as a Pool Monitor and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all pool-goers! In this role, you'll oversee pool activities, enforce safety regulations, and provide friendly assistance to patrons.

Requirements

• Ensures that policies, guidelines, and safety procedures for the facility are followed
• Advises guests of improper activities or dangers and enforces facility regulations and policies
• Responds to emergencies and administer first-aid when necessary
• Ability to work independently
• Maintain focus at a high level for extended periods
• Evaluate conditions for safety and activate an emergency action plan if necessary
• Complete daily opening/closing procedure checklists
• Inspects pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure that they are safe and usable
• Report maintenance issues to management
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, co-workers, and management
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Benefits

• Hourly compensation: $14-$17/hr
• Potential for a raise after every 60 shifts

• Flexible scheduling with a minimum of 3 days per week
