Job Description
PreNode, a startup from Karlsruhe, is seeking a Cloud & Backend Developer to build new IoT and data platforms. The role involves developing scalable cloud architectures, backend services (APIs, data management), contributing to the technical roadmap, and ensuring security and scalability. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is key.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in cloud solutions (Microsoft Azure preferred)
- Sound knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure IoT Hub, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service)
- Experience in backend development (Python or Node.js) and API design (REST, GraphQL)
- Knowledge of system architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and data management (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with security, identity, and access management (OAuth2, Azure AD)
- Understanding of DevOps approaches (CI/CD, Docker, infrastructure automation)
- High level of initiative and organizational skills
- Ideally, experience in the IoT environment
