Corporate HR Generalist

The Corporate Human Resource Generalist will run various daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering payroll, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Requirements

• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, and work assessments.
• Ensure operational excellence in benefits administration, and HRIS management by maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Lead end-to-end payroll processing with exceptional accuracy and efficiency, demonstrating advanced proficiency in payroll and timekeeping systems.
• Administer and manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, state-specific leave, and company-sponsored leave policies.
• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified salaried job applicants for open positions;
• Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to hourly compensation, benefits, and leave;
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, associates, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations;
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Manages social media and corporate communications.
• Attends and participates in associates disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.
• Manages other duties as assigned.
