Certified Peer Specialist for St Louis City Treatment Court

PreventEd is seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to support individuals involved in the treatment court system by providing peer-based recovery support, advocacy, and engagement to promote sustained recovery and successful community reintegration.

Requirements

• Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) credential required (Missouri certification preferred)
• Lived experience in recovery from substance use
• Strong understanding of recovery-oriented systems of care
• Experience working with justice-involved populations preferred
• Ability to build rapport with diverse populations
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2
