Price Industries Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee and lead all procurement activities for our growing US office and manufacturing facility in Winder, GA, ensuring materials, equipment, and services are sourced at the right cost, quality, and delivery to support production and operational goals.
Requirements
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to support production, engineering, and corporate goals.
- Serve as a working buyer, handling daily procurement activities, placing purchase orders, managing supplier communications, and ensuring timely material availability.
- Train, coach, and develop new buyers, with a focus on IFS ERP system proficiency and best practices in purchasing.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and contracts to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and long-term agreements with key vendors.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to forecast demand and align purchasing plans with production schedules.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers to reduce risk and improve supply chain resilience.
- Monitor inventory levels, lead times, and material shortages; proactively address potential disruptions.
- Drive cost savings and process improvements through supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and KPIs for leadership, highlighting purchasing performance, cost savings, and supplier risks.
