Job Description
This role is for an Associate Data Developer, FinTech, who will work on data systems, cloud migration, and analytics. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and professional work experience in Software Engineering and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Professional work experience in Software Engineering and development
- Proficient in applying search engines like Apache Lucene, Apache Solr and ElasticSearch
- Basic knowledge of Big Data solutions such as Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and RabbittMQ
- Experienced with strategies such as indexing, machine-learned rankings, clustering and distributed concepts
- Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust
