Associate Java Developer

Join our Agile team as an Associate Software Developer - Java to participate in mission critical projects, showcase your development skills, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to build the next generation of travel applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Core Java.
• Experience building applications with Node.js, has an understanding about how Node works and applying common libraries
• Thorough SQL compositions skills for composing queries and analysis
• Deep understanding of modern real-time as well as batch processing big data solutions (Spark/ Kafka/KSql/ Flink/ Apache Beam)
• Experience developing applications that work with NoSQL stores (e.g.Cassandra, Bigtable, MongoDB)
• Comfort and experience with Spring Frameworks, Web Services and APIs.
• Experience in Microservices, Kubernetes, Dockers is a big positive.
• Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
• Unquestionable integrity and ethics is essential.
