Job Description
PRIME is seeking an Electrical Engineer Level 4 to provide technical design and consultation, ensuring projects comply with engineering standards. The role involves leading major projects, designing electrical systems, and producing permits and construction documents, with a focus on power distribution, signal design, and lighting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes, power systems, and design software.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, and 7 to 10 years’ experience in electrical systems design; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional Engineer Licensure (PE) required
- Proficient in MS Word & Excel
- Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit & Navis Manage
- Expert knowledge of the NEC as well as building codes and ordinances
- Expert knowledge and experience with power and lighting design
- Broad knowledge of sustainable design and LEED Documentation
