Regional Vice President of Communications & External Affairs

The Regional Vice President of Communications & External Affairs is a corporate and regional executive leader responsible for the planning, development and execution of the organization's strategic communications and public relations to advance the mission and organizational goals through effective messaging, media relations, crisis communication, employee engagement, advocacy, and stakeholder outreach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare communications or public affairs, with experience in large, complex health systems preferred.
• Excellent writing skills; creativity a plus
• Excellent coaching and mentoring skills to ensure an effective Corporate and hospital communications team.
