Ingénieur(e) de projet (Montréal, Toronto ou Vancouver)

We are seeking a project engineer to join our growing team at Primero Amériques. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Primero's continued growth in North America.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil/structural engineering, or a related discipline
• Member of a Canadian engineering professional order (e.g., OIQ, PEO, EGBC, or provincial equivalent)
• 3-7 years of experience in a similar role in the mineral processing, mining, or heavy industrial sectors
• Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities in industrial or mining environments, including on-site exposure
• Good understanding of project execution, contractor management, and multidisciplinary project environments
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering plans, technical drawings, schematics, and documentation
• Solid understanding of applicable standards, codes, and regulations
• Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
• Experience tracking contractor activities, timelines, costs, and scope changes
• Excellent communication and coordination skills (verbal and written)
• Humble, collaborative, and open to feedback approach, with a strong team spirit
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach, with ability to adapt to changing project priorities and needs
• Organized, meticulous, and quality-focused person
• Able to deliver high-quality work within established timelines and budgets
• Commitment to safety and promoting a strong HSE culture on projects and sites
