Job Description
We are seeking a Project Design Manager to join our team in Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver or Salt Lake City. As a Project Design Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all drafting and engineering matters relating to a project, ensuring that multi-disciplinary teams work together smoothly and that everything is delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 10+ years of experience within the mining or resource industry
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng./PE) in Canada or the United States
- Strong experience in mentoring and people management
- Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Understanding of project scheduling and its coordination with engineering and project delivery activities
- Strong awareness and implementation of HSE practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
