Job Description
The HR Specialist role will support day-to-day HR functions for a high-volume manufacturing environment, including handling walk-in candidates, coordinating hiring activities, supporting employee relations, and partnering with remote HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to escalate more complex HR matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR 2+ years equivalent HR experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Experience with HRIS systems; UKG Pro experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of HR principles, employment law basics, and HR administrative processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport in a diverse manufacturing workforce
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
