Kelso- Electrician (Non driver)

Perform electrical work, including terminations, installations, and testing. Work in a team environment and follow safety protocols. Must be able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements

• Practice safety rules
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Report to and assist immediate supervisor
• Perform quality work as determined by project specifications
• Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift
• Work well as part of a team
• Read construction drawings and understand construction specifications
• Have a basic understanding of electrical systems
• Install underground cabling and conduits
• Run basic electrical test equipment
• Work with, train, and mentor helpers
• Comply with company's drug and alcohol abuse policy
• Pass physical examination, pre-employment if necessary, and as required by the company
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces
• Carry 50 lbs. of tool and/or materials
• Stand or walk for long periods of time
• Work extended hours on your feet on uneven surfaces
