Substation Project Manager I

Primoris T&D provides construction, maintenance, and engineering of electric Transmission, Distribution, and Substation infrastructure. The Project Manager I oversees construction projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations.

Requirements

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead the development of project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to manage material and subcontractor procurement, ensure prompt handling of engineering submittals, and address construction requirements efficiently.
• Monitor project progress and performance through regular updates and field visits.
• Oversee progress updates, including change tracking and approval of change order requests, to ensure accurate and timely billing of completed work in accordance with the customer’s billing requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project deliverables align with design and operational requirements.
• Manage and track project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
• Identify and report project risks, issues, and variances; assist in developing mitigation strategies, corrective actions, and recovery plans.
• Facilitate progress meetings and provide clear communication across all project stakeholders.
• Assist in project closeout activities, including timely demobilization, documentation, and lessons learned.
