Responsibilities include performing maintenance tasks, communicating with coworkers and residents, and working independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Professionally communicate with coworkers, vendors, and residents
- Work independently and as a member of a team
- Identify and report issues involving employees, property, or residents
- Complete service requests in occupied apartments
- Maintain common hallways and community room areas
- Repair or replace window glass and screens
- Perform carpentry tasks
- Complete basic electrical work
- Perform basic appliance repairs
- Complete basic plumbing work
- Perform HVAC repairs
- Maintain operable exterior and common area lighting
- Remove ice and snow from walkways, porches, and drives
- Perform general grounds duties
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Complete work required by municipalities and building inspectors
- Perform after-hours on-call services
- Work overtime when needed
