Medical Billing and Collections Supervisor

Practice Billing and Collections Supervisor overseeing charge entry, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and accounts receivable recovery in a physician medical practice setting. Ensures accurate use of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding and collaborates with providers and clinical staff to resolve documentation and coding discrepancies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting
• Expertise in healthcare billing and collections, including ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding knowledge, especially E&M coding and requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of patient financial services processes and standards related to billing, collections, and cash posting.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of people, including other department managers, staff, physicians, patients, and the public.
