Ophthalmic Assistant

The Ophthalmic Assistant conducts measurements and tests to provide the Physician with the information needed to arrive at a diagnosis and to prescribe treatment. The incumbent is responsible for appropriate documentation in compliance with standards and provides excellent patient services.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline preferred
• 0-2 years of prior ophthalmic assistant experience
• Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception), normal range of hearing, ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
