The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse plays a critical role in the care and recovery of children facing life-threatening conditions, providing comprehensive nursing care, monitoring patients, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Intensive Care or a similar critical care environment
- Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to make rapid decisions during emergencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-pressure healthcare environment
