The NICU Registered Nurse provides specialized care for premature and critically ill newborns, monitoring vital signs, managing complex medical needs, and supporting families during critical moments.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care or equivalent critical care experience
- Current BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications are required
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond to emergencies effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with families and healthcare teams
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced settings while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care
