Job Description
Certified Medical Assistant to support health and wellness center's clinical and clerical operations, assisting provider and performing select clinical duties.
Requirements
- Ability to draw blood and confident in blood draw skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to prioritize needs and plan work accordingly
- Knowledge of HIPAA
- Certification in hearing and fit testing preferred or willing to get certified
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screen
