Job Description
Certified Medical Assistant position supporting clinical and clerical operations at Proactive MD's health and wellness center. Assist providers, perform clinical duties, and maintain administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Ability to draw blood and confident in blood draw skills
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Occupational health and primary care experience preferred
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to prioritize needs and plan work accordingly
- Knowledge of HIPAA
- Certification in hearing and fit testing preferred or willing to get certified
