FIELD TECHNICAL ENGINEER - NY

Reporting to the Area Service Manager, the Field Technical Engineer performs OEM service and installations of medical devices, including electrical, mechanical, and software components. The role involves performing skilled technical work, documenting and maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Degree in electronics, biomedical engineering, biomedical technology, electrical engineering or equivalent
• One to three years of experience servicing BMD or Ultrasound equipment
• Previous mechanical, electronics or fluidics work experience, either in a field service or hospital-based setting
• Solid computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, software operating systems, and network technology
• Valid driver's license, good driving record and must be able to pass a motor vehicle record check
