Job Description
Procept is recruiting a Measurement Engineer to conduct drive tests using specialized equipment and software to collect measurement data on network performance. The ideal candidate is technically qualified, a team player, and able to analyze and interpret data.
Requirements
- Proficiency in setting up, operating and maintaining drive test equipment in challenging conditions.
- Ability to understand and interpret main KPIs such as dropped calls, call setup success rate, data throughput, etc.
- Knowledge of Drive Testing Tools and Proficiency in using drive testing tools such as TEMS, Rhode & Swartz, Tems Pocket
- Ability to use a spectrum analyser to identify interference and signal issues
- Understanding of Network Technologies such as GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE, and 5G technologies
- Knowledge of cellular architecture and understanding of RF principles and radio propagation
- GPS and Mapping Software with Competency in using GPS and mapping software for route planning and data correlation
- Real time monitoring –skills in real time monitoring and alerting
