Job Description
Procom is searching for a Sr. Unix Systems Administrator for a contract opportunity in Richardson, TX. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in daily system support and operation for critical and complex production systems.
Requirements
- 8-10 years experience as a UNIX System Administrator
- Strong background in HP-UX 10/11, Solaris 2.6/7/8/9/10, RHEL 4.x/5.x, AIX
- Hands-on experience with Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas File System, DiskSuite, LVM
- Strong experiences in SAN devices (EMC Celerra/CLARiiON, NetApp Filer, Brocade switch)
- Hands-on experience in NetBackup backup software
- Experience of jumpstart and kickstart implementation
- Certifications in Solaris, Linux and/or SAN are preferred
- BS in (Computer) Science/Engineering or equivalent IT work experience
