The Project Engineer will assist the Project Management, Estimating, and Field Teams with design-build commercial projects. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a career in Construction Management.
Requirements
- Track open items per project using Procore.
- Maintain weekly task lists and short-term look-ahead schedules.
- Prepare and issue meeting minutes for site and subcontractor meetings.
- Track submittals, RFIs, and closeout documents.
- Support subcontractor coordination by confirming scope, dates, and deliverables.
- Assist with cost tracking: subcontractor commitments, invoices, and change requests.
- Flag cost variances per the Project Managers' request.
- Perform basic quality checks against drawings and specifications.
- Support jobsite safety by verifying OSHA baseline compliance.
- Assist with contract administration by tracking scope, exclusions, and deliverables.
- Support design-build or design-assist coordination between design and field teams.
