Senior Backend Product Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Product Engineer to join our Visualization team, where you’ll work on complex features and collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers. As a key contributor, you’ll help build the technical foundation that powers Spark's intelligence and mentor the team. You’ll also have the freedom to direct your work and share ownership of the product. The role involves developing the core product, tackling complex challenges, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver impactful results. You’ll gain customer insight and drive user engagement, and your work will make our product more engaging and personalized.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience
• Proven track record of developing world-class product experiences
• Pragmatic and business-oriented with a focus on balancing craft, speed, and business impact
• Strategic problem-solver with the ability to iterate swiftly on new ideas and adjust approach with emerging information
• Flexible with technology and adaptable in learning and using different technologies
• Empathetic communicator with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly
• Team player with a commitment to the growth and learning of teammates
• Focused on delivery with the ability to prioritize effectively and align work with team objectives
