Job Description
We're looking for a Staff AI Product Engineer to help shape the future of AI-powered product development at Productboard. This role involves building AI-first product features, designing agent workflows, and making our codebase AI-ready. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, hands-on experience with LLMs, and strong backend development skills in Python, Kotlin, or Java.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with LLMs in real products
- Strong backend development skills in Python, Kotlin, or Java
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end across backend and frontend systems
- Experience building agentic systems is highly valued
