Information Security Analyst

Proficio is an award-winning managed detection and response (MDR) services provider seeking an Information Security Analyst to join their SOC-as-a-Service operations. The successful candidate will possess strong network and security knowledge, be a strong problem solver, and work under time pressure to quickly analyze and report security threats in customers' networks.

Requirements

• 0-3+ years' experience in threat monitoring
• 2-4+ years' experience in threat monitoring and threat analysis
• 3-5+ years' experience in threat monitoring, threat analysis, and advanced skills such as Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and DevOps
• Education and experience equivalent to the years' experience requirement in both networking and cybersecurity
• Previous work with SIEM technologies receiving and triaging alerts from various log sources
• Continuous learner with a passion for defensive cybersecurity and advanced problem-solving skills
• Strong base in Linux operating systems, scripting skills (preferably in Python), and experience with a variety of other security tools
