Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Solution Architect to join our Technology team. In this role, you will contribute to the architecture, design, and scaling of ProgenyHealth's Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform, Baby Trax, and related interoperability solutions.
Requirements
- Leads the identification, definition, and documentation of solution architecture, technical design, and interface requirements
- Serves as a liaison between clients, health services, technology, and training teams
- Identifies inconsistencies, risks, and gaps within complex business, data, and integration workflows
- Provides architectural guidance and oversight to business analysts and engineers
- 5+ years of experience supporting Agile software development teams delivering healthcare or interoperability solutions
- Strong knowledge of Web Services and RESTful Web APIs (SOAP experience a plus)
- Experience with NextGen Mirth Connect (preferred) or another EDI integration engine
- Strong knowledge of healthcare standards and protocols, including X12, HL7, FHIR, and CCDA
- Proficient with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
- Hospital or managed care information systems experience; integration of third-party COTS software with proprietary platforms preferred
- Experience creating data flow, application flow, and system architecture diagrams
- Solid SQL skills required
