Counselor-Seniors

The Counselor-Seniors position provides support and assistance to clients of the Seniors Program's residential treatment programs in San Francisco. Responsibilities include promoting social rehabilitation, conducting intake interviews, group and individual counseling, and maintaining clinical records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in residential treatment and/or knowledge of social rehabilitation
• At least one year's experience in a community mental health program
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Basic word processing skills
• Acceptable level of maturity, good judgment, and emotional stability
