Job Description
Manage the maintenance and improvements of all GIS (Geographic Information System) or GIS-related databases, field applications, software, hardware, and web services that are used by the Company's departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university
- Training in ArcGIS Enterprise Software, ArcGIS Spatial Data Engine (SDE) Database, AutoCAD, Meridian document/drawing repository
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in geography, engineering, application development or other closely-related IT experience
- Working knowledge in IT requirements and standards, GIS utility infrastructure, software applications, electric and/or water utility, project management and contractor/vendor management, database models and relational databases, GPS equipment, computers and laptops software, application development and computer programming
