Job Description
The Youth Worker will be responsible for ensuring client safety, providing direct care services and maintaining building safety during the Evening shift (4pm-12am) at our 24-hour Youth Services Transitional Residence Program.
Requirements
- Engage and counsel clients
- Make security rounds of building and document all findings
- Provide client intervention and stabilization services
- Determine any immediate need and link clients to appropriate services
- Assist clients in developing independent living skills
- Make regular entries in staff communication log
- Ensure proper charting of all client information
- Participate in weekly supervision and all team meetings
