Job Description
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to oversee all psychiatric care at our shelter, provide psychiatric evaluations, follow-up care, crisis intervention, and liaison services to outside providers. Must have a New York State Medical License, Board certification in Psychiatry, and experience working with the homeless population.
Requirements
- New York State Medical License
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Experience working with homeless population
- Buprenorphine waiver
- Excellent oral, writing and listening skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and create and coordinate schedules
- Ability to interface with clients and all levels of staff
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially WORD and EXCEL
