Job Description
Join a team of professionals who make a difference on projects both domestically and internationally. As a Construction Inspector (Substation), you will conduct on-site inspections of high-voltage substations to verify condition, safety, and compliance with WAPA/DOE standards and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience inspecting or working on high-voltage substation construction or maintenance projects
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage electrical equipment
- Familiarity with WAPA construction standards and federal government construction practices
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926, NESC, NEC, and applicable federal/state codes
- Ability to operate safely within energized substations and enforce federal safety regulations
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and construction reporting tools
- Valid driver’s license; able to travel to remote substation locations
