Maintenance Technician

Prologis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors, perform basic maintenance functions, and coordinate maintenance services with vendors. The successful candidate will have a General Education Degree in Civil Engineering, a minimum of three years of skilled maintenance work experience, and knowledge of multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

Requirements

• General Education Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of three years in skilled maintenance work; experience in commercial real estate industry preferred
• Knowledge and experience in more than one of the following: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, Construction, Fire protection System, Roof and heating/cooling (HVAC) systems
• Ability to work outdoors much of the day
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks on a daily basis and solve problems
• Ability to carry out specific oral and written instructions
• Ability to coordinate repairs, maintenance and site inspections
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, management, contractors and vendors
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and the ability to travel to multiple properties
