CNC Machinist

ProMach is seeking a CNC Machinist for its Statham, GA facility. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, programming, and running CNC machines to produce high-quality machined parts for custom-designed packaging machines.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience or completion of a 1 or 2-year Tool Technology or related program
• Familiarity with CNC set up, programming and running VMC machines
• Familiarity with manual machining operations including mills, lathes and saws
• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprint drawings
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to stay organized and ensure that the work area is clean, safe and orderly
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and well as be punctual and dependable
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to perform basic math including working with and converting between fractions, and decimals
• Ability to do the essential functions of the job which includes a full range of physical motion including bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs
