Job Description
As a Controller, you will provide hands-on leadership in accounting and financial reporting, direct accounting processes, and be the strategic partner for the General Manager. You will work side by side with our team in Perrysburg, OH, and be responsible for compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate, payroll, sales tax, and other applicable tax laws.
Requirements
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance
- 8-10 years experience in finance and accounting, strong preference for manufacturing environment
- Strong background in financial analysis
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach and provide direction to a team of employees
- Experience with various ERP and software programs (Syteline preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to effectively present information to internal partners
- Demonstrated analytical skills; able to synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, use intuition and experience to complement data, and design workflows and procedures
