Job Description
Join ID Technology Canada as a Field Service Technician based in Surrey, BC, performing hands-on problem-solving tasks, installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, and traveling to customer sites across Western Canada and the U.S.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in field service or technical support, ideally within the packaging, automation, or manufacturing equipment industry
- Diploma or degree in Electromechanical Automation or a related field
- Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Allen Bradley, and Siemens
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel throughout Canada and the U.S. (by car or air)
- Willingness to obtain and maintain PMMI certification (cost covered by the company)
