ProSidian is seeking an Oil and Gas (Petroleum) Engineering Technicians to support an engagement for the U.S. Govt. International Technical Assistance Program (ITAP) providing assistance on technical, regulatory, environmental, and financial management for national development on a range of energy and non-energy resources.
Requirements
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position
- Ability to communicate effectively across all functions in the organization and deliver quick turnaround on management requests working with minimal direction and supervision
- Demonstrated expertise in both quick scoping economic evaluations and in-depth field development modeling
- Effective management of multiple scenarios and key driver sensitivities
- Experience with economic analysis of Energy, Extractives, and/or Renewables deposits, decline curve analysis, Ultimate Estimate of recovery discounted cash flow, the rate of return, present value and other Mining Industry Engineering/Geosciences activities concerning the drilling, completion, log interpretation and reservoir evaluations
- Proven understanding of petroleum reservoir systems including geology and fluid production sufficient to prepare an assessment of risks to economic development and knowledge of both conventional and unconventional completion, drilling, and production operations
- Software proficiency in decline curve analysis, rate transient analysis, or full field production modeling with solid data management and visualization skills to clean, analyze, interpret, and display key drivers to successful investment in currently active and prospective basins
