Endodontist

An Endodontist is a dental specialist who focuses on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases and injuries affecting the dental pulp and tissues surrounding the roots of the teeth.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• Completion of an accredited endodontic residency program
• Board certification or eligibility for board certification in endodontics
• State licensure to practice endodontics
• Excellent clinical skills, including proficiency in performing root canal therapy and endodontic surgery.
