Job Description
We are seeking a US GAAP Financial Reporting Senior Accountant to support the preparation, consolidation, and reporting of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of professional accounting experience
- Experience preparing financial reports and consolidated financial statements
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with consolidation
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality
- Ability to work independently in an autonomous environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to take on new and challenging assignments
- Experience with life and annuity insurance companies and/or Oracle systems is a strong plus
