The Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Lead is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and machinery in the plant's production facilities are installed and maintained in optimum operating and safety condition.
Requirements
- 5 years' experience in a similar position
- Electrical and mechanical attestation/certificate
- Hands on experience in trouble shooting and repairing Machinery (extruders, grinders, mixers, chillers, compressors, refrigeration and air conditioning system)
- Strong observation, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and follow complex instruction manuals, blueprints, schematics and electrical diagrams
- Ability to use computer-aided drafting software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, to view blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge and understanding of PLC programming language and computer systems
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work, keeping in mind that modifications and repairs to existing equipment and the installation of new equipment must be done promptly to minimize production down time
- Ability to train others in the safe and proper operation and maintenance of equipment relative to their position
- Ability to cope with stress and maintain a professional attitude while interacting with Protech employees and outside contractors
