Job Description
Protera Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their team. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for operations of Development, Testing, and Production environments. The individual must have strong ability to integrate cloud principles with application deployment processes and support procedures.
Requirements
- Create and utilize tools to monitor applications and services in the cloud
- Participate in on-call escalation to troubleshoot customer-facing issues
- Develop and maintain cloud-based systems architecture
- Automate code builds and deployments
- Install, Configure, and Support Oracle and MS SQL Enterprise level database systems
- Establish and manage operational and security policies
- Manage application, middleware, and infrastructure updates
- Collaborate with and provide support for development teams
- Mentor and train other IT Operations personnel
- Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards
