Job Description
Protera Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer (L2) to design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud infrastructures in AWS and VMware environments. The role involves managing virtualized systems, automating cloud operations, and supporting hybrid cloud deployments for enterprise clients. Protera values collaboration, innovation, and a positive team atmosphere.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, virtualization, or infrastructure operations within an MSP or enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
- Solid experience with VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and vMotion.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, patching, and backup automation tools.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls).
- Experience in supporting hybrid environments.
